Participants/Teachers have the right to choose between the Professional or Non-Professional Category.

Professional

Classical Solo, Modern / Contemporary Solo, Classical Pas de Deux, Classical Duo, Modern / Contemporary Duo, Small Group and Big Group in Ballet and/or Modern / Contemporary Dance

Non-Professional

Classical Solo, Modern / Contemporary Solo, Classical Pas de Deux, Classical Duo, Modern / Contemporary Duo, Small Group and Big Group in Ballet and/or Modern / Contemporary Dance

 

Age Category and Age Restriction Explanation:
Important for finding out the correct age category is the participant's age at the first day of competition, February 5th 2019
    °Minis: 7-9 years old (born between Feb 6th 2009 and Feb 5th 2012)
    °Kids: 10-12 years old (born between Feb 6th 2006 and Feb 5th 2009)
    °Teens: 13-15 years old (born between Feb 6th 2003 and Feb 5th 2006)  
    °Juniors: 16-18 years old (born between Feb 6th 2000 and Feb 5th 2003)
    °Seniors: 19-26 years old (born between Feb 6th 1992 and Feb 5th 2000)  

 

All participants of age group „Minis“ are allowed to participate in the “Non-Professional Category” only.
The correct age group for Modern / Contemporary Duo, Small group and Big group is defined by the age of the eldest participant of the group.
EBGP  is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information submitted in the online registration form.

• Repertory Choice:
The choice of classical and contemporary dance repertoire is a free choice for every participant or his/her teacher.
We highly recommend to choose age appropriate choreography.
Participants/their teachers are responsible for all of their choreography and music copyrights.
* Neo-classical works belong strictly to the Classical category.
* Classical Pas de deux must include Adagio, Variations and Coda.
